Dr. Grace Hwang practices dentistry the way she believes it should be done: unhurried, thorough, and centered on you as a whole person. With nearly 24 years in practice and close to a decade leading her own practice, Sweet Tooth Dentistry Valencia, her clinical focus sits at the intersection of  smile design and cosmetic dentistry,  restoratively-driven clear aligner orthodontics.   And she is passionate about wellness dentistry and sharing insight on how the mouth is a window to the rest of the body so that patients are best equipped to enjoy healthy mouths and a healthy life.   

Whatever brings you in, whether it’s a wellness check-up, straightening your teeth, restoring a worn-down bite, or simply trying to understand what your oral health is telling you about your overall well-being, she approaches every case with the same custom, whole-person philosophy.

She looks at your airway, your bite, signs of inflammation, and connects what she sees in your mouth to your broader health picture.

Dr. Grace has been providing Invisalign and clear aligner therapy for over 22 years, and her approach to orthodontics is always restorative-first: how your teeth come together matters as much as how they look. She is equally at home doing cosmetic composite bonding, full smile rehabilitations, and working with anxious patients using sedation to make even complex treatment feel manageable.

Before dental school, she worked as a medical researcher at ABC Network News, where she interviewed leading specialists and translated complex science for public audiences. That experience shaped who she is as a communicator: clear, curious, and genuinely invested in helping people understand their own health. That instinct has never left her.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Grace loves spending time with her husband and three sons, hiking/walking in nature, writing, watercolor, baking desserts and indulging her own sweet tooth.

Her patients know her simply as “Dr. Grace.”
